About Numblitz
Numblitz is a free daily numbers puzzle. Everyone in the world gets the same six numbers and the same target, and has one go at it.
Where it comes from
The game is based on the classic numbers round from television. It began on the French show Des chiffres et des lettres in 1965. Britain knows it from Countdown, and in Turkey it was the “işlem” half of TRT’s Bir Kelime Bir İşlem. Generations of viewers have shouted answers at the screen while the clock ran down.
Numblitz turns that round into a daily puzzle in the spirit of Wordle. It takes a couple of minutes to play, the puzzle is the same for everyone, and you can share your result without spoiling the answer.
What makes it different
- No interruptions. No pop-up ads, no waiting for a video to finish before you can play.
- Global stats. After you play, see how you compare with everyone who solved today’s puzzle.
- Fair results. Every submitted answer is checked against the real puzzle on our server.
- No sign-up. Open the page and play. We don’t ask for your name or email.
What’s next
- Extreme mode. A harder daily puzzle for players who find the regular one too easy.
- Duels. Head-to-head matches against another player on the same numbers, against the clock.
- An archive. Play the puzzles you missed.
Who makes it
Numblitz is a small independent project. It’s free to play and supported by advertising.
